Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and saute for a few minutes. Add ground turkey, stirring occasionally until browned and crumbled, abut 8 minutes.
Add carrots, garlic powder, oregano, cayenne pepper (optional) salt, black pepper & turmeric. Cook for two minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour in tomatoes & apple cider vinegar and stir well; bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium, cook for about 10 minutes until the sauce is thickened and carrots are tender, stirring occasionally.
Add beans and mash with a fork, back of a slotted spoon or use a potato masher. Cook for 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.
Serve
on a whole wheat hamburger bun or a romaine lettuce leaf and roll into a wrap.
Serve with sliced red onions and or lettuce and sliced tomatoes.
