I like setting seasonal goals. These often revolve around the different feelings of each season ~ Spring, to me, feels fresh, new, invigorating, a time of rebirth.. This helps me create new habits and practices that feel more natural.
For example, I switch my exercise routine once warmer weather hits. No more treadmill, rowing machine, or elliptical! I take daily walks in springtime, play lots of tennis, and do an outdoor boot camp. An added benefit is the Vitamin D my body gets from only 10 minutes a day of being in the sunshine. Vitamin D deficiency is associated with an increased risk of depressive symptoms and brain fog! So get in the sun! (with sunscreen of course!)
