Ginger Sesame Turkey Meatballs

1 3/4 lb ground turkey

1 egg, lightly beaten

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

3 1/2 Tbs almond flour

1 3/4 cup scallions, minced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 Tbs soy sauce can also use gluten free tamari sauce

2 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp ginger, peeled and minced

1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish

 

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

2. Prep and cut ingredients.

3. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, almond flour, beaten egg, cayenne pepper, scallions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger. Add more almond flour if mixture is too wet.

4. Shape the mixture into bite-sized meatballs and place on a baking sheet.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.

6. Remove from oven.

7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve. Place on skewers if desired.
