Date Shake!

Perfectly delicious way to start the day with a healthy dose of protein. Try for a snack as well.
Try adding an espresso shot if you need a jump start to your morning!
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, or milk of your choice
1 frozen banana, I freeze mine in slices
2 medjool dates, pitted and chopped
1 tablespoon almond butter, or peanut butter
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Dash of cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
½ to 1 cup ice, if you want a thicker shake
1. In a blender, combine the milk, banana, dates, nut butter, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt.
2. Blend until smooth. If you want a thicker shake, add ice and blend again. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
